#SoL15 Day 23: movietime

…a teacher movie, Good Morning, Miss Dove, plus links to more. Typing is challenge today and requires using a combination of the regular and on-screen keyboards for keys not working on the other. Slow going but hopefully temporary. Necessity can be a real mother.

As far as I can tell, there are no blogger movies. Many movie blogs turned up on the search though. None of the writer and few of the journalist movies seemed right. How wrong would make a post of all by itself. Just think of it: The Shining as a movie about writer's block.

Besides, I wanted a free move to embed and others to list. Last year I did a "teacher movies" post on precarious facultycomplete with Good Bye Mr Chips.
Sunday Matinee: teacher movies, 1939-1988: Celluloid stereotypes and images of teachers and the profession from Good-bye Mr Chips (1939) to Stand and Deliver (1988)...dated and sentimental, but, unlike so many contemporary portrayals, competent and respected

Slice of LIfe I am participating in the March Slice of Life Challenge: trying to blog a slice a day for all of March.  Thank you, Two Writing Teachers! Visit the site to read some slices
