Save the last slice for me #sol18

Today is the last day of March and this year's blogging challenge. Tomorrow is Easter and April Fools Day.  I decorated for both: put plastic Easter eggs (rocks inside to keep them from blowing away) under the tumbleweed and sat La Calavera Catrina in her Easter apron on the porch.

Now for today's slice, a reflection or what next? If both, I should have started sooner. Last slice indeed. I thought about both, made notes.

Winter in Yuma and a prodigal's return to blogging #sol18

It's been cold in Yuma, - 7° when I woke up this morning, up to 20° during the day and back down to 12° now. Excuse me if I seem obsessed with the temperature, wind too. I have breathing problems and winter walking can be a problem. I stay in, watch conditions for best time to walk. It's time to change the green, green blog banner photo for something more seasonally appropriate -- not picturesque snow because we haven't had more than a moderate dusting. Gray sky, yellow grass and bare branches are less aesthetic but more representative. This one should do nicely.



If not the best time of the year for old wheezer walkabouts, it is a good time to write, do online research and take courses. I registered for two Electronic Village Online TESOL workshops and if not behind yet, will soon be but enjoying the mental exercise and global conversation.

Dear Tuesday #twtblog Slicers, no guarantee, but I'm back, at least for this week. I've been writing ~ copious email, 750words, online conversations by comment on blogs and social media ~ but neither blogging nor willing to give up on it. Yuma Colorado catch-up is about a sliced as my life gets these days. By way of explaining the opening aside: apparently my Manor named Facebook page confuses some Yuma Housing Authority residents, so I am still reminding them about my Yuma project speaking for anyone but myself. Explaining the confusion and context would probably make a good post.
