…out most of the day, returned home to a Life in the #Manor media request of sorts. A tale (or future post) about the dynamics of life in small, relatively closed communities lies therein...later, not now. Today the post is pictures of Yuma (above) and Wray (below). Besides, I'm taking my own advice of short posts as better than none.
Morning I worked online until my daughter came at noon to take me to lunch at La Cabaña and errands -- a trip to nearby Wray and a stop at the local dollar story on the way back. We finished off with coffee at Farm House Market before returning to the Manor.
Tomorrow I might decorate the tumbleweed for Easter ~ pink and blue garlands, maybe an Easter bonnet for my Catrina Calavera skeleton who came for Halloween and moved in to stay. The garden gnome is a zombie.
Decorate the Tumbleweed? Love that!

Tumbleweed Christmas trees are a tradition in parts of the Southwest -- there's even a Country Western song about them. I decided not to give it up after Christmas
DeleteDecorating sounds fun. I bet catrina will enjoy her new scenery.
ReplyDeleteMy decorating habits tend to the minimalist, easy and sometimes quirky. Maybe it's part of settling in here or just having an apartment with a porch, but I've taken more interest in porch decoration. I've been considering thinking lanterns and a Princess Leia "A Woman's Place is in the Resistance" banner
DeleteA Catrina post is definitely in order, Halloween group picture with my grandsons in eyeball goggles, for Christmas in a Santa hat, New Years with a scythe,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your porch! Fun, funky and so inviting! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAhhh... thank you. Blessing from the expert in fun and funky. Still keeping it minimalist, I've been thinking about additions -- will consult.
