when in doubt make lists #sol18

…Not a clue what to write about today. Still under the weather and in wobbly so take it easy mode, I'm less under than yesterday's scary lay me out flat day. But now I need to walk out even if only a short, cautious one -- and not so long or tiring a walk that I am too tired to finish the post, crash and sleep through the deadline.

When in doubt, make a list

What else I'm working on

(besides this blog post, in no particular order)

  1. Writing 750Words a day or whatever I can; the goal is to write every day just for myself. I manage every day but not always the count
  2. Catching up: reply to blog post comments, no point in hustling comments unless you respond
  3. social media conversations
  4. Catching up: email, ongoing, a huge back-list and always more
  5. Post content on Facebook pages: Mountainair Online, Life in the Manor, Shaffer Hotel, Poets & Writers Picnic, Precarious life & times
  6. Bryan Alexander's FOECast community, ecosystem or whatever it is
  7. Learning more about prototyping because I committed to creating a prototype
  8. Activism and Social Movements MOOC ~ promising but somewhat neglected at the moment
  9. Following stories on Net Neutrality, Parkland students, economy, climate change, Yuma and NE Colorado, precarious labor and more (see topics below)

Curation Topics

(admittedly, an incomplete list)
  1. activism, advocacy and social justice
  2. aging
  3. art, artists and art activism
  4. cities
  5. climate change, ecology, energy, environment
  6. economy
  7. education
  8. Everybody Eats
  9. immigration and refugees
  10. internet, computers and digital culture
  11. divides, dissent and civil disobedience
  12. labor: organizing, work, academic labor
  13. libraries
  14. media: journalism, social media
  15. places along the way, place making, public space
  16. rural culture, issues, development
  17. science and technology
  18. #whatwecando
  19. wellness, healthcare, health equity
  20. writing

assorted fruit slices
Two Writing Teachers host a weekly Tuesday and an annual March Slice of Life Story Challenge (SOLSC). This is the 11th one. During March, SOLSC participants write and share daily blog posts, and comment on three or more blog posts by other participants. Read today's (March 21, 2018) blog posts here

Why fruit slices? A cheerful vitamin C reminder? Just because. For that matter, why an orange slice? fyi the slice of life blogging challenge icon hasn't always been one but has always been round.
