penultimate slice, #sol17 30/31

…not time yet for last slice wordplay (save the last slice for me, etc) and "penultimate slice" doesn't have quite the same ring. I'm moving into what next mode. Re-animating too many blogs + companion social media is a dead cert to crash before the home stretch. If I secretly want to shoot myself in the foot, that would be the way to go...

Tentatively, I'm going with precarious faculty and Miscellaneous Arts, the blog formerly known as Mountainair Arts, now more broadly re-purposed -- and slicing here Tuesdays to keep me anchored. This blog and Life in the Manor (Facebook) cover my local community. Now for examples of the two not yet covered here. Above, see the precarious faculty Adjunct News page. I worked on it today, fixing a glitch in the widget code so it would display.

Below is a digital arts magazine for Miscellaneous Arts from my InoReader collections. In this time of less blogging (which may or may not change), I've been focusing on feed reader bundles and folders that can be viewed as html clips with a standalone permalink. The Art folder is a mixture of automated and manually curated content: rss feeds, saved page, link collections and page bookmarked to Diigo, tag rss subscribed to Ino. Messy and chaotic, it's still a work in progress.

2017 is the tenth year of the Slice of Life Story Challenge (SOLSC) hosted by Two Writing Teachers (TWT). Challenge participants, aka "slicers," write and post a "slice of life" every day during March.

Now go read for yourself how Day 30 sliced...

  1. I am also trying to figure out what happens after March. I think I will do a 30/30 poetry challenge, but I'm so tired right now, I'm not sure if I can pretend to be up to that! Good luck with picking up your two other blogs -- that is ambitious!

    1. 30/30 poetry challenge sounds good for April. Maybe Tired is not the time for ambition. My son sent me an order from Cajun Grocer. I arrived yesterday. Last night I ate 2 sticks boudin after posting -- and the last one in the package this morning (two more packages in the freezer).
